Any solution planned yet for upgrading WebKit / HTML engine in AIR 23?

I know Chris mentioned they are looking into a few options and we would LOVE to have a solution from Adobe.

I have an ANE working in OSX ONLY.

If that's any use to anyone ?

It's based on WKWebView, written in Swift.

Uses the the Webkit on the user's machine, so basically Safari.

It's super fast, works with video (e.g. youtube) and can be overlaid on Starling

I should be able to post on GitHub in a few days, I just got the bones of it working today.

Windows, I have tried and tried but it is beyond troublesome
