Is it possible to get a User's contact list into an air app on an iPhone?

Using the list to give the User an option to add people to the app's contact list.

As far as I know, there is no contact Choose like there is for images... yet

The internal contact database is not accessible at this time. I have heard of folks cracking open the apk, and adding in other bits of Java code to demo this. But I would classify this as a hack.

I hear two suggestions that although it is not available at this time, it may be in the future. Is there anywhere online that suggests this? A list of up and coming festures?

The device's contact list is not accessible to AIR for Android. You need this functionality you can submit the a feature request to Adobe.
