Hi there,

I have tried to run my application with Flex Profiler and toggling between two screens makes the number of component instances increase without killing the old ones. How can I ensure that the "old" instances gets killed?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Is it possible to get any sample code that demonstrates the problem?  Also, are you using Flex Builder 3 or Flash Builder 4?  Finally, in case you aren't familiar with GC in AIR, you might want to take a look at Kick starting the garbage collector in ActionScript 3 with AIR.

Thanks,

Chris

The sample would be within a research project that uses a local webservice as well. A little too much to deploy for just the sample. But the link is great stuff. That will definitely help me. Thanks!
