Is Adobe AIR dead?

Community Beginner ,

Does anyone develop with AIR anymore?

What are the alternatives though? It seems AIR is still the best.

Are you dead because there is other humans on the face of the planet ?

Sorry for the stupid answer but I felt that the question deserved it

I don't think it's that dummy question. I keep wondering the same thing. What I've seen, many (probably a lot more than Adobe thinks) develop with AIR because its the best tool for their specific task, but many seem to fear Adobe will pull the plug soon. Alternatives we research are Unity3D for native performance and HTML5 for compatibility and flexibility. Unfortunately they are still behind AIR in many ways (and in many ways lightyears ahead).
