I am getting reports of sluggishness with response to my apps from users with new Note 10.1 devices. Anyonne else have similar reports? I am using GPU mode and tried the latest AIR SDK 13 and a user tested and there is 2-3 second delay in button response to something happening. This reminds me of the Nexus 10 issue from below and given the similar high res screen on the Note 10.1 (2560x1600), I am wondering if the issue is back. User reports other phones and tablets work well.

What kind of app have you built? Unless it is using 3D elements, I wouldnt recommend using GPU mode and would just leave it on "auto" or "cpu". I say this because GPU mode as lots of restrictions as to what it can display as far as UI elements are concerned. Below is a link to the Adobe documentation on GPU rendering in mobile devices.

Been using GPU in the same app for 2 years so it isn't new. There is a lot omultitouch gestures on images and CPU has always been terrible. It is only this device, similar to the bug I initially launched (and they fixed) for Nexus 10. My gut tells me there is something they need to tweak with the runtime like they did before. My users complaining of pressing a button and waiting for 2-3 seconds for reaction. The Note phone or Note 8" and other Samsungs this user has work perfectly.

If anyone has this device, can they validate AIR apps are working fine for them?
