Permission problem with iOS 12, Air 30 & 31

since ios 12 is available the following problem is appearing:

our app has to ask for the camera and microphone permission. When installing the app the first time on an apple device it works properly.

but if we delete the app from iphone or ipad and install it again the permission for camera and microphone will not be asked.

the permissions are already granted at the device. it seems that the permissions keep saved in the cache of the device.

this causes a bug when using the app.

after deleting and installing several times and after switching the device on and off the permissions will be asked, but only sometimes.

we think, that this is a serious problem and hope the adobe air team will solve this problem as soon as possible.

thanks a lot in advance!

Not sure whether or not this is related, but since iOS 12, one of my apps (that has been running for about a year) has simply stopped opening.

I am recompiling with SDK 31 to check if that fixes the issue.

Hi, our app is working fine. There is only the permission issue and the list scrolling with air31.

With iOS 12, your apps may not open with older AIR SDKs if you're trying to open a debug or adhoc version of the app on your device.  It doesn't seem to affect versions downloaded from the App Store thankfully, so it shouldn't be happening for any of your end users, only for your own test/debug versions.  AIR 31 does fix this issue for non-App-Store builds though.

Hi There,

As investigated, this is not an AIR issue. It is observed on native apps also on iOS 12 beta 8/9, same mentioned in the open forum.
