StageVideo slow loading

I'm compiling with Adobe Air 4 to Android. StageVideo works, but the video starts after 10 seconds of a black screen.

My experience wth StageVideo is that it works or it doesn't... but I've never experienced this. The video is encoded with h264 in a 480p resolution.

Any idea what could be going on?

After making more tests StageVideo is unusable in this particular Android device. I'm working with an iStick A200 with Android 4.1.1 installed.

Not only the video took 10-15 seconds to load, my whole application becomes unresponsive and even crashes sometimes.

As a last resort I've gone back to using the old Video object... which works as intented. This is very disappointing, every day Adobe Air future is a little darker. Next Android project I will use Haxe / OpenFL / NME.
