Hi,
AIR versions up to 23, using FlashDevelop and directly embedded mp3s. Sounds plays with a noticeable delay (can't measure, let's say approx 0.5-0.7s), when wrapped in andriod app.
The swf in flash players works fine - all sounds plays instantly as should.
Can't use CC for packing all the stuff in SWC (because reasons...). And do now want to use external ane.
Please help!

This problem has been reported several times before, starting many years ago. The prerelease site is different these days, I don't know how I would point you to some of my old reports.

I am well aware this issue is not new. But I wish it to be finally solved...
Working on some additional testing. Feels like the delay is proportional to the number of sounds playing at the same time.

As Colin says we have been waiting for several years with no action.
We posted this:

with no answers from Adobe.
This issue has not been solved since 2010.

You shouldn't expect this to be resolved. Use an ANE for sound (there area few free and some paid). This will solve your delay and ANRs from sound.
