Can't install adobe air on windows vista

when i go to the adobe air download page and hit download it sends the download to my computer but i cant open the download from there

Does that download page SAY the version you are trying to use is compatible with Vista?

Correct.

Vista is a very, very old operating system. I didn't realize that some people still actually use it.
