Improper orientation Splash Screen ios IPAD Landscape Mode

Dear developers, I am hoping someone has come across the same problem I have and has a solution.  When the app initially opens, I get the proper splash screen in landscape mode showing up, but then a quarter of a second later, it seems the same splash screen is rotated by 90 degrees and appears distorted in portrait mode.  The app has been designed for Landscape mode ONLY and besides this problem, works perfectly fine.

I have created an IPAD only app.  I am using cs6.  I am using the latest version of AIR 16.0.0.250.  I have created an ADHOC ipa file with the following publishing options

Aspect Ratio Landscape

Full Screen checked off

Auto Orientation checked off

Render Mode:GPU

Resolution: Standard, though I had the same problem with HIGH resolution

Included Files

Default-Landscape.png

Default-Landscape@2x.png

I have created several apps in the past with different versions of AIR and have never had this problem.

Thanks for any help/clue you can provide.

Justin

I logged that bug yesterday. You could go and vote, or add notes:

Bug#3915279 - landscape launch image twitches to portrait

For now, use build 222.

Sorry Colin, I searched for the official Adobe version of 222 but could not find it.  I gather 222 does not have the 64 bit support.  Is that correct?

I can't remember the build number that had 64 bit support. Can't find the previous builds either. If you are on Mac and can IM me at coiin at mac dot com, I can give you build 222.

You may need to make sure you submit your app before Feb 1st.
