We've noticed in our builds that our info.plist inside the final ipa generated by adt package contains a key called EnablePingback:

<key>EnablePingback</key>

<false/>

We've searched around to figure out what this is, but the only result is this article:

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/redist/WS485a42d56cd19641-70d979a8124ef20a34b-8000.html

"pingbackAllowed — Allows the installer to check for updates to the AIR runtime and report a successful install to Adobe over the Internet. No identifying information is transmitted."

Can somone confirm that EnablePingback is part of the AIR runtime settings? Is there more information about how pingback works? And how does it work on iOS?

Thanks!
