Hi

I really need some help here!  Any help appreciated!

I've created an app for iPad that currently only support danish.

I'm updating the app to support english and I would like the app name (shown below the icon) to change according to language on the users iPad.

In the -app.xml I've changed the name node like this:

<name>

     <text xml:lang="en">English App Name</text>

     <text xml:lang="da">Danish App Name</text>

</name>

However this always shows the English name.

I've tested with other languages like french at that works fine

     <text xml:lang="fr">French App Name</text>

I've just read that danish is not supported by the air installer??????? why?

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WSfffb011ac560372f2fea1812938a6e463-8000.html#WSfffb011ac56037...

Is there some other way of doing this?

I'm using Flash CC and Air 14.0.0.178  (using command line to compile)

Thanks

Rolf

Danish is not supported. On weekend (tomorrow) I will update Adobe AIR SDK with danish support. You can grab it here http://gamespoweredby.com/adt.html but version that I will use will be latest beta - 15.0.0.243 or newer. At this moment there is 14.0.0.157 (outdated).

Also you need to login at bugbase and put your vote https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3710257  for native danish supporting

Thanks a lot, Anton.

I tested the version 14.0.0.157  and it worked perfectly.

Adobe should at least support changing the app name.

I've voted for native support for Danish.
