Way to detect Silent Switch in iOS?

I was playing a Disney game on iOS and they had this great popup at the beginning that was like, "Hey, your silent switch is on. That's why you can't hear anything. Do you want it on?"

And I'm like brilliant! What a great way to keep from getting single stars from people who don't know how to work their device!

So, does anyone know how to do this in Air with as3? I'm already using the SoundMixer.audioPlaybackMode = AudioPlaybackMode.AMBIENT setting. I just wondered if I could detect whether I can detect whether that switch is on.

Thanks!

You need Native Extension (ANE) for this. I don't know if someone have already done but if you can't find - you need someone to develop it.

* Due emergency economy of my country I don't offering free ANE's development anymore.
