i tested and didn't encounter the problem so it's not everyone that has this problem.

you should:

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

i don't see that problem with cc 2017.2

if that's the version you're using, reset your preferences by removing

Win:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC 2017\ and

C\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\2017\

Mac:   /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Animate CC 2017/ and

/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Animate/2017/

I did delete that folder and it keep crashing, doesn´t stop me from work but would be nice have it fixed at some point, it may be just my computer problem

C\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\2017\

I deleted both folders and still crashing when I choose more than 3 colors on my color palette to make a gradient color.

I think you should test with other people if this problem is just mine or is common.
