Adobe Animate 2022 not responding on load

New Here ,
Jan 27, 2022 Jan 27, 2022

When I open Adobe Animate 2022, it immediately stops responding and does not load.

I've tried:

- uninstalling and reinstalling

- restarting the computer

- the steps from this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/kb/animate-crashes-on-launch-startup.html (except to turn off firewall)

I'm operating a Windows 10 Thinkpad laptop. This is a work computer.

If anyone has any advice on how to get Adobe Animate to work it would be much appreciated.

I found a fix for my particular problem.

I realize that I had power mode on the lowest setting (better battery life). When I had moved it to best/high performance, it was able to load no problem. I might assume that this fix only works if you have a Thinkpad that has that power mode setting.

reset all your animate preferences (see bottom of page), https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/using/set-preferences.html
