Adobe Animate - Air for iOS doesn't show the splash screen.

Adobe Animate Air for iOS doesn't show the splash screen. I am developing apps for children and noticed a while ago that the screen Default.png did not load at the start of the app. It was just a black screen for 1 sec. but i did not find that disturbing. Since a week or so I noticed that when starting the app, the icon is resized to the full screen and that looks awful when you start the app on the iPad. So what's the problem? Should I rename the Default.png with a specific naming convention for iPad?

you should be using, http://blogs.adobe.com/airodynamics/2015/03/09/launch-images-on-ios-with-adobe-air/

and make sure they are added to your included files.

in addition, it may still be necessary that the images be in the publish directory (and not a subdirectory).

Hi, thanks for your answer. I did use the naming convention, but it stil does something that did not happen before. I think it just started a few weeks ago. I have several apps in the iTunes store and they all have suddenly the same problem.

So instead of using the launch image the icon is scaling to the maximum size of the iPad and then the app is launched.

I did use the information in the link and it turned out to be due to a type error why the launch screen did not load. (:

But the fact remains that before this i did not use the launch screen either and the problem with the icon did not exist.
