Adobe Animate Brush tool no longer functions

I'm not exactly sure of what happened but, the brush tool shows the preview of what I'm drawing but then just disappears as if I never made a mark. The fluid brush and pencil still work though.

I reset my PC a couple of times and it started working again. Thanks anyone who came in to help. I don't think I can get rid of this post but, issued is resolved.

I am having the same issue with Animate 2022 only with the FLUID BRUSH tool. As with you, the opposite behavior from the other brush, so for me, brush tool working.

I have rebooted twice and still encountering, but I haven't found a solution on the community forum as yet.

Somehow the brush settings changed for me and ended on paint selection or
something similar. Make sure your brush mode is on normal. Hope this helps.
