Hi all,
I checked with the team about our support for Animate on High Sierra, and was told that the latest Mac OS is officially not supported on the current and next update for Adobe Animate CC. There have also been bugs reported on Wacom devices running High Sierra.
It would be my advise to hold off on upgrading to High Sierra if you are using Adobe Animate for production purposes, and upgrade only when you think it is safe for you to do so. I would also check online reviews for anything that might affect your workflow. It would be ideal if you have a testing environment that allows you to try Adobe Animate CC on High Sierra before you upgrade devices used for production.
Thanks,
Preran

DOH! I should have checked this forum before I did upgrade. Good to know though and thank you for posting.
I am having some serious issues with HS. Such as (and if you have any suggestions, I am all ears) when using the selection tool and attempting to change the shape of an object, there is no way to move anchor points other than rounded edges. I can create anchor points (with the "create anchor point" tool), but the outcome is very clunky and nothing looks right. I have tried everything that I can think of (short of putting a bullet through my display). On Windows, one simply holds the "CNTRL" key to manipulate the object. No such luck on Mac. Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Bob

I'm using High Sierra, and with the Selection Tool I can pick up the edge of a shape, without having to hold down any keys, even the straight edges.
Are you only seeing that problem with a Wacom tablet? It could be part of the issue that Preran was talking about. I'm using trackpad.

thank you for responding
I'm using the Mac Trackpad at this time. I have a Wacom tablet to use, just haven't done so yet. I can get rounded edges but not the straight ones to change.

Could you make an FLA and put it online somewhere, that has a shape on the stage that you can't move the straight edge of?
