Adobe Animate not started during configuring workspace

While using the latest version of Adobe Animate, I suddenly encountered an issue where the application would no longer launch. In an attempt to resolve this, I completely uninstalled all Adobe applications as well as Creative Cloud, then rebooted my PC. After that, I installed an older version of Animate (24.0.1), but the problem persists — Animate gets stuck at "Configuring Workspace" and becomes unresponsive.

Based on solutions I found, I have already deleted the following folders:

  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC 2024\

  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\2024\

Unfortunately, the issue still remains, and Animate does not open.

If anyone has any suggestions or possible solutions, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance!

Surprisingly, after removing the fonts I had installed around the time Animate stopped launching, the application finally opened.
Although the cause turned out to be different, I really appreciate all your help and support. Thank you!

I followed the instructions at the link you provided https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html and completely uninstalled all Adobe apps.

After reinstalling Animate, I launched the application and tried resetting preferences using Control + Alt + Shift, but unfortunately, the issue persists and nothing has changed.

during the uninstall did you opt to remove preferences?

I used Creative Cloud to uninstall Animate by selecting Remove from the context menu. When the Animate Preferences dialog appeared, I selected Remove (instead of Keep) to delete the preferences as well.

I have also manually deleted all Adobe-related files, including:

  • C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate YourVersion\YourLocale\Configuration

  • C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\YourVersion\

  • as well as any remaining Adobe-related folders under Documents.

However, this did not make any difference.

To describe the issue more precisely:
When I launch Animate, it reaches "Configuring Workspace", then becomes unresponsive and does not proceed any further. The same "Not Responding" behavior also occurs with Adobe Media Encoder (AME).
