Adobe Animate won't download [was: install]

Hi there, I've been having a lot of trouble trying to install animate on my pc. It's more than capable to run the program and I have no idea what's causing the issue. My internet connection seems fine. I've literally been at this for days and I'm starting to panic because I have some assignments coming up and I need the program right away. It's gotten to the point where I'm literally not using my wifi at all in order to let it download but still nothing. It gets stuck randomly. I've tried downloading it via the animate installer and through the creative cloud desktop app. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what I'm going to do without it.

First confirm your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run Creative Cloud desktop app + Animate CC + all other apps you intend to use.

Animate requires Win10 (1803 update) or higher or mac OS High Sierra or higher.

Possibly related to installation getting stuck.
