Animate CC 2018 keeps crashing on launch page

New Here ,
Apr 13, 2018 Apr 13, 2018

Every time I have been opening adobe animate over the last few months, the message asking me to sync my setting comes up and no matter what I press from there, adobe animate then crashes. It's like the message popping up is causing it to crash as it works fine for a very short time before the message comes up and while it's up, it's only when i get rid of the message that it crashes. It is a problem identical to the problem someone else had: Animate CC 2017.5 crashes on launch page but I looked over the chat and I couldn't find a solution to the problem. I really need to finish something that i'm working on so i'd really appreciate it if someone gave me a solution ASAP. Thank you..

nowhere does it say to use regedit for animate versions.

ask for help deleting the preferences folders

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate <problematic version>\ and

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\<problematic version>\
