Well met,
How come the HTML5 Canvas in Animate CC boosts the volume of carefully edited sound bites on import? Is this a feature?
I spent a decent amount of time preparing 50+ audio files using Audition and upon importing them into Animate CC the volume levels change dramatically, some unbearably so. Does this happen on purpose? Is Animate deciding that the files are too quiet and amplifies to compensate?
I mention this because the pattern I noticed is that files that are more quiet or have longer quiet pauses become much louder during these parts. In every other program they sound the way they are supposed to, but upon importing into Animate CC, it sounds wack.
Anyone else have any experience with importing .wav or .mp3 files into the Animate CC HTML5 canvas and have run into this bug?
Thank you for listening and your time,
I may have figured it out... resaving a couple files at 44.1khz may have fixed it. Am I allowed to mark my own answer correct?
Anyone have any top tips on getting the most out of squashing .wav's into .mp3's?
