Animate crashes

Animate crashes every time I try to Import an AI File. I'm right in my Design Bachelor Thesis and I desperately need a working animate cc! I've tried several workarounds to fix this bug, nothing worked so far. I have deleted the Cache of animate, checked the AI File (I cannot Import any AI File in any Animate Project), turned off the firewall, reinstalled Animate, deleted my preferences but it all didn't work. I'd be very grateful for every fast help!

I don't see a problem on my end. I'm using old and new AI files and they both open in Animate.

Do you have the latest version installed? Is the issue on Windows or Mac?

the issue is on mac. I just installed an older Version (23.0.10). With that Version I can Import AI Files. Since im very new to animate, I'm not sure which features im missing with that version tho.

can you drag the ai file to the animate stage?
