Animate drives me crazy

I tried everything installing old versions reinstalling changing seeting changing preferences everything I just can't get audio to work while animating I can hear while testing the video please help

is your audio's sync property set to stream, not event?

open your audio file in audition and, if it's stereo, resave with 44.1 sample rate, 16 bit sound.  import that file into animate and test.

and your lysol.wav works for me when scrolling and playing the timeline BUT when testing i get a javascript error.

your test file doesn't work aswell and when i test it it opens in browser and doesn't play any sound and it also gives a warning.

saving and importing as an mp3 fixed the javascript problem and tests without problem.

do you hear my sound when scrolling/playing the timeline within animate?

if so, with an online file you need user interaction to trigger sounds.  ie, put a

this.stop();

in the first frame along with a button to play the timeline with the sound.

no that's the problem i hear the sound in my files while testing it in the app and while extracting them into mp4 files with media encoder. And also I don't really know where you told me to put this.stop(); and what i'm supposted to do.

you need user interaction with your file or your browser will block sound.

I don't have a problem with that I just want to hear the sound while animating and that's all.

a little update, I hear the sound from your file in browser now but still I don't hear while dragging in animate and playing it in animate unless I test it.

It was working for me 2 years ago (on windows 10 and 11 also) then I stopped animating for a while now that I want to start it again I have this issue witch makes me stop animating again

over your start button > settings > system > sound > advanced sound options check if animate is listed.
