Animate Masking Problem

New Here ,
Jun 18, 2019 Jun 18, 2019

I've been searching the forum and all over the net for a solution to a problem I'm having. Although I've found one discussion similar to what I'm experiencing, it didn't offer me a solution.

I have a masked layer with a spinning texture which seems to operate just fine when I play the animation in the workspace window. But when I test or export the animation it bugs out and doesn't work properly. It looks all glitchy and weird with running lines (I've attached two screenshots, one of what is happening and the other of what it should be doing)

Does anybody know what might be causing this? I thought maybe a workaround would be to somehow flatten the visible layers but apparently that's not possible...

Any help or thoughts would be greeeatly appreciated.

AS3 or Canvas would be useful to know. Maybe a screenshot of your timeline. Something.

in the absence of all that, the only thing I can suggest is to verify that your mask is a single, solid, continuous vector shape. No brush strokes, or multiple shapes, or pointless internal linework (ahem), or any of that mess.
