Hi,

i have created a movieclip with a tweening of a heart.
Now i use this mc five times on the main stage.

I can't see the animation on the stage if I hit enter.
If I 'test in browser' everything is fine.

I'm also not able to 'export as gif'. The gif does not have any animation.

If I export the file as a mpeg4 everything ist fine.

What do I do wrong?

I am glad about any help.

you probably have animation that's not on the main timeline and not in a graphic symbol timeline that's on the main timeline.  eg, your animation is on the heart movieclip timeline.

thank you so much.

You are right: In order to view animations on the main timeline from another "MOVIECLIP" you have to convert it to a graphic symbol. This works as long as you don't need any scripting on the object.

p.s. you can script graphic symbols.

as far as i remember, that used to be a problem but was still doable using getChild(), getChildAt(). but now you can assign an instance name of graphic objects and reference them just like movieclips.
