Asset Warp Tool animation disappears after saved project is reopened

I've been having an issue with the Asset Warp Tool in Animate (24.0.2).  Once I have used the Asset Warp Tool to animate a layer, I will often save and close the project to return to it the next day.  When I reopen the project, the animation I've done with the Asset Warp Tool is gone.  The AWT pins are still there, but the animation data is gone. 

Any solves or workarounds, I'm missing?

I don't remember ever having this issue with earlier versions of Animate.  I mean, they all still crash pretty regularly when using the AWT, but whaddayagonnado?

do some work on your project. save with a version number appended to your file name.  do more work and save with increasing version number appended to your file.

periodically close and reopen the latest version to confirm there's no problem.

if there is, open the previous permission and check etc.

This doesn't seem to be an issue when using Animate 2023.

Hi, can you provide the steps to reproduce the bug? There's been a few of these issues in the past (like here) but I can't seem to replicate it in 24.0.2 anymore...
