Audio sound file becomes corrupt on publish

Hey team, I'm really sick of this work-around and I thought maybe by some of the recent updates, this might be fixed by now. But, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So I have a WAV file and Animate publishes it to mp3 of it's liking. But in doing so, it also includes some nasty sounds of the most horrible shreiking nature. So the work-around is to open the WAV in audition, export as mp3 with 44khz. Then after each publish, replacing this audio file in the publish folder before implmentation.

PLEASE FIX ADOBE

publishing to mp3 is expected but i don't know why you're hearing artifacts.

what if you open that wav in audition first, then save as 8 or 16 bit, 44khz.  does the published mp3 still have artifacts?

i don't see/hear that. so i'm not sure it's worth pursuing, but if you want to try and remedy, you would start with resetting your preferences.

I was curious if I used a pc computer, totally unrelated account, operating system, surely that would isolate the event perhaps to my own mac. NOPE. Exact same thing occurs with decent quality audio in the upper mHz ranges. Horrible addition of shrieking sound at the end.
