Automatic animations?

Is there any plugin/script that offers various types of animations to apply to text/symbols within Animate?

Back when Flash was still active, there was an alternative program called Swish, which allowed you to use a point-and-click mouse menu to create all sorts of dazzling animations, simply and quickly, and then it would export your .swf file when you're ready.

I understand that Animate has this capability, in the form of Actionscript and possibly in other forms ..

The kinds of effects that I'm hoping for range from simple transformations to complex motion paths and animations.

Is there a collection of effects or a website that offers pre-made scripts for download?

Thanks!

i saw your message the day you posted and was waiting to see if someone had a plugin for you.

i know you can do this using jsfl files (or one jsfl file), but i haven't searched a premade one and it would require more than a trivial amount of time to create one for you.

Thanks!  This is good to know.  I looked up what is a jsfl file, and it's JavaScript for Flash.

So I looked and found this, a GitHub of a handy jsfl collection!

https://github.com/vpmedia/flash-jsfl-collection

and these, a smaller collection put together by a team at Fuel Industries that they released for free:

https://code.google.com/archive/p/fueljsfl/

and these, an even smaller, and more technical collection by PoseLab for free:

https://poselab.com/en/blog/flash-and-jsfl/

and this from Peachp

these are more than enough to get me going.  thanks for the pointer @kglad !

nobody (that i know of uses flash), we're using and discussing animate.

among other things,  it's used for mac, pc, android, ios apps,  and it's useful for creating html5 websites (especially when converting from a swf to html5).  it's also used to create various video/animation formats.

i'm not sure what you meant by "the video just up before your comment", but the op mentioned swfs and a program called swish as an example of what he is currently seeking for the current animate.

if you're converting then you're using a swf generating fla (as a source) to start your html5 conversion.  i just finished doing that for a swf website i built in 2010 and the client wanted it updated to html5 for obvious reasons.

i found animate to be 100% effective doing that (except for code and components which have to be manually replaced).

there's a learning curve to be sure, but i haven't found anything doable in a swf that's not doable in html5.

my most recent hurdle surmounted was bypassing the canvas components so i could control fonts precisely.

anyway, if you want to hire me to convert some stuff, let me know.  but before you do that, if you can briefly describe a specific issue i'll help for free via these forums.

Good question!  After all, it was squeezed out of the market by Apple, quite effectively, and it doesn't seem to show up anywhere now.  But it does!

For me personally, I recently found it to be absolutely suitable for a website need, to create, of course, the HTML canvas animations.  (.swf is obsolete, I think, in almost all places, except relic sites and obscure ads)

There is almost no barrier to fulfilling any customer or business animation request, using Flash, or, as we call it now, Animate.  Now that I have begun to read about JSFL, I'm seeing a whole new unlimited world open up, for the possibilities here, within Animate.  I can easily program my Flash, which, before, I had to hack it to do it the way I wanted.  Yea Adobe!

Nowadays, it's the same interface for the programmer, in most regards, but that interface automatically and very efficiently makes the work into modern HTML and JS, compliant and tidy to read and easy to use in my projects, except for one little bug I found, but have mitigated using this solution here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/animate-discussions/scale-animation-to-fit-parent-container-not-windo...
