Backend with Animate?

Is it possible for Animate sites to have BACKENDS, like, PROPER ones, which DO something? Is that like, PHP or node,js or something, or is there some other, Adobe-certified tool?

Is there anything like Adobe Generator used to be, for Flash, TODAY?

i don't know anything that converts flash swf files (or animate swf files for that matter) to web-ready files other than animate.
