Can't import an FLA File.

Okay, I am trying to import an FLA file i found on discord, (i am new to animating, specifically Madness content) and whenver i try to import it to stage, it says "One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them." Can anybody give some advice? FYI, i have the latest version of Adobe Animate and the file was posted recently.

don't import the fla, open (file>open) it.  or click the fla (and if needed select a default program - animate - ) to open it.
