Can't output .air files anymore

Since the last update, when publishing using AIR the option to Output as "AIR file" is grayed out. I can only publish as Windows Installer or Application with runtime embedded:

How can I generate air files now?

select air for desktop (if that's what you want) from the document properties panel:

I changed nothing, it just stopped working after the last update. Installed AIR 32.0.0.116 today to see if it helped but same thing.

your output file is an exe.  that's not going to be an air package:

It doesn't let me select the AIR option, changing the filename is not enough

start a new 'air for desktop' project.  any problem with that?

Not the ideal solution but that worked. Something wrong with that specific fla file.
