Closed my file without saving. Are the auto-recovery files deleted?

I have auto-recovery enabled and I have been working on a project for hours straight. Without thinking, I just manually closed it without saving. Does this mean there's no way to find that file that is auto-recovering since they're deleted (because it didn't crash etc.)? I tried looking here  C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC 2017\en_US\Configuration\  and in other folders and I couldn't find anything šŸ˜ž

Thanks for the help.

did you use your username and your animate version and animate language so you were looking in the correct folder?

and you're looking for AutoRecoverFilenames.txt in that folder, not a fla file.
