Hi,

with forms in html, you would have a message sent page (or not sent) to confirm the message has been sent.

How can you do this in AS3 and in an app?

This works pretty much the same in any medium. Use some sort of email gateway or formmail that will receive the email content and forward it on to you. These services usually include a reply to the sender. Most web hosting services include this sort of thing as part of the hosting package.
