Hey,

I'm working on a large project and need to convert old SWF files that renders images from .mov files to HTML 5. I tried to do this using Adobe animate but could not find any solution, all I got was an error telling med that the file format is unsupported. Is there a workaround this issue?

Hi.

Do you have FLAs or just the SWFs?

Because if you only have the SWFs, you're gonna have to decompile them back to FLAs using a software like Sothink Decompiler.

But having the FLAs or not, you're only gonna be able to reuse the graphic assets and animations in the FLAs because in HTML5 Canvas documents all code has to be rewritten in JavaScript.

Please let us know.

Regards,

JC
