This is probably asked all the time, but how can i, if i can, recover corrupted animate files. I have been successful in the past at recovering the document via a winrar repair method but for whatever reason, this will not work this time. The film i was working on is due for school by the 12th of April so it is really important that i get this sorted. I would like to say i have an earlier working document that hasn't got as much work. Thanks for any help given -Paul
the winrar methods are the one way.
using a working swf and decompiling to create a working fla is another.
but anyone encountering the problem more than once should know to save fla's with different names so you never lose much work.

Cheers, managed to recover most of it thankfully. Gonna save it on a hard drive from now on. Would encourage everyone to backup their work if reading this in the future to save themselves from the stress.

don't just save to a hd. save your fla with different names otherwise you will encounter this problem again.
eg, use yourproject_v001.fla, yourproject_v002.fla etc.
