When I test my flash file, I found that if I pressed enter, it would play the next scene in the file - is there a way i can disable this?

When testing using Flash there is aan option in the main toolbar of the Flash Player to Disable keyboard shortcuts (Control -> Disable keyboard Shortcuts).  You only have to set it once while you have Flash opened and it will stay active until you close Flash.

Thanks, but im looking to make it more permanent, so that if others are using it, they can't exploit it

It only does what you don't want it to do when you are testing in Flash.  When others are using it, they will not be.
