I know that the chances of anybody helping me with this software glitch is the same as winning the lottery. But I am desperate, And do not know what else to do? So here I go...
For a long time now, I have been using Adobe Flash Professional, Creative suite 5.5 as my primary animation program. And I have been using a VisTablet, Drawing tablet, to make my illustrations into animation. Also, I am using an HP Pavilion laptop with a secondary HP monitor on its side. The laptop is equipped with a touchscreen display as it's monitor. Two monitors for horizontal and vertical viewing. I've been using my tablet with my secondary monitor throughout the year 2017.
Starting in December 2017, I have encountered an interface problem. Whenever I try to draw a simple vertical line in adobe flash with any tool, The curser disappears and the whole stage moves around. And when the side scroll bar hits its sides, The whole program window moves a little bit to the corresponding side. I can no longer draw vertical lines whatsoever! However, I can still draw horizontal lines. But I can only draw in an 0 degree or a 180 degree straight horizontal line. I can not draw in any other degree. And the same thing happens when I try to use the touch screen monitor that is my laptop.
When I try to make a vertical line moving down, The right scroll bar moves upwards. And then. When I make a horizontal line moving towards the right, the stages instantly snaps into a lower position. Like as if I had been using the scroll bar to move it down. But I haven't! I've been using the pencil tool with a drawing tablet! I can no long work on my Animation projects like this!!!
Now I know that there is nothing wrong with my drawing tablet. Because it works fine with Adobe Photoshop and general web surfing. Like as if nothing is wrong in the first place. I can also use my wireless USB mouse to draw lines like normal as well. It is only with Flash Professional CS5.5 that I am having this problem.
I had uninstalled Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5, And then re-install it. However the problem still persists. Someone suggested that this has something to do with "Programmed gestures" made into my tablet. However I do not how to find the settings for my tablet. Hell! Half the buttons on my tablet are useless!
Because of the age of my software, Adobe.com will offer no technical assistance to me. And as I search around the internet, It appears that I am the only person with this specific problem.
Again, I know that nobody can or would help me solve this programing error, But where else would I go?
Spend thousands of dollars to rent creative cloud from Adobe? No independent artist can afford that!
If I can get any kind of response to this discussion page, I would be regretful.
