export animated svg?

Hi there - is it possible to export an animted svg from adobe animate without all the html?

Animate cannot export animated SVG, only SVG sequence.

I wanted to export each individual frame as an svg file

This might be my #1 feature request since animated SVGs are simply awesome and require no 3rd party player. I actually found a way via an extension that is no longer supported and is a bit quirky. But I got it to work! Grab this:

THINGS TO KNOW:
After you create your animation...
Convert all tweens to keyframes
Unlock all layers
Ensure all nested animations have the same number of frames as the main timeline does
Grouped objects can pose problems - use Object Drawings when necessary

Sometimes the exported SVG can have weird glitches but after lots of trial and error, I have managed to get it to work.

Now, if I can convince the engineering team to build this as a native document type, animators and developers can rejoice!
