Exporting via media encoder removes visuals/

I made a short animation, and I want to export it. However, when I export it I can only export it as a .swf, so I exported it as a .mov to .mp4 using media encoder. However, this removes all visuals. Does anyone have an idea of how this might have happened?

Which version of Animate are you using? If it's at all recent you should be able to use File/Export/Export Video.

If you notice the sound quality isn't great, go into the FLA's Publish Settings, and under SWF check what the two audio settings are. You would want to change it from MP3 16kbps to be Raw, 16 bit Stereo, 44.1 kHz.

Well, I need to export into .mp4 or .avi. Unfortunately, enabling adobe media encoder removes visuals, and without, the format isn't supported.

Adobe Media Encoder does give you MP4, but the feature uses QuickTime. Make sure you have QuickTime installed, then the visuals should get through ok.

By the way, people won't need QuickTime to view the MP4 you make, only you will need QuickTime, in order to make the MP4.

Ok... well quicktime doesn't work... this is very weird indeed.

Is apple quicktime the one I'm meant to be using?
