I can easily get my socket to connect to the server via entering the local IP address, but is there a way I can expose all socket servers on a given local network so the user can select the server with a user friendly name? This would be much better in my situation where the IP of the server may change and users are not very technically savvy. Setting up a static local IP is not an option.
The program will run mostly on OS X so I was thinking something to do with Bonjour. I really have no idea.
