Find and replace code in Global Script in html5 banner not working as expected

When I try and find/replace code in the Global script, Animate finds the code fine but instead of replacing it, it adds the new code to the whatever keyframe I have selected or am closest to and leaves the original code as is.

This is also an issue trying to find/replace code in general. On the timeline, the code IS replaced where it is found, but the replacement code is also added to whatever keyframe you have selected or are nearest to.

What is going on here?

Thanks for your reply kglad.

Unfortunately that didn't help. I've tried this on both Animate 2022 and 2021. I've tried resetting preferences.

See the attached video to see exactly what I mean. I've also tried this on a second machine with the same issue. Am I just being an idiot or is there something wrong going on here?

Thanks.

that's a bug from using the advanced option find/replace fields.  you can report it here, https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

meanwhile, use the find/replace fields attached to the actions panel:

Yeah I'll report as a bug. Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately your method won't work for what I'm after. I need to find and replace in multiple documents at once - about 50 all up. Ended up just doing it manually.
