And I dont mean resizing an object and maintain the shape ratio. I will, for example, make a rectangle 600x768, and some reason, more often then not as of late, it put the size of the shape as 599.95x767.95. If i chjange the one number, say the 599.96, to 600, as it supposed to be, it will change back to 599.95, or even 600.05. sometimes i luck out, and it co-operates...but there has to be a setting that is doing this, but I really dont know what it is....and i dont even know how to word my question in google for it..and had this problem for years now....i never asked, cause whenever I ask a question, always get a snarky reply about not googling, or not be skilled, or should know that the problem is.
Been using Flash for a very long time...first version I got when in college was Flash MX, and so enjoy using it for drawing and to try to animate with. I don't know what category to ask this in...but heard they changed the name to Flash and heard they were eliminating Flash as a whole, which makes me sad...so I hope I got thje right category.
Thanks

Really? Now that makes very little sense to me...when doing things, I often want my objects to whole numbers....often, if possible a multiple of 10. Makes it easier to arrange a group of items together, when is easier to calculate how things are gonna fit and all...this .05 thing is just silly. Please tell me I can change it so it doesnt do that....cause I do artwork in Flash as well, and I requite certain objects to be at whole number values, not fractions. I spend a lot of time trying to get the values I want it to be. May seem petty to most, but to me, it's very important.

you can always use whole numbers but animate can be recalcitrant if your trying to resize a bitmap.
