I am establishing a socket connection over port 443 using SecureSocket class, while connecting i have received a Security Sandbox Violation. However it works perfectly when trying with Socket class through port 80.
I have verified my policy server and found that the Flash Player's <policy-file-request/> string is encrypted.
I am trying to built a policy server in .Net to serve the policy.xml over TLS/SSL connection. I can validate the certificate and read <policy-file-request/> and serve back the policy.xml. However these process takes some time (approx 3-4 secs) and Flash player throws the below error:
Warning: Timeout on tlssocket://<domain>:843 (at 3 seconds) while waiting for socket policy file. This should not cause any problems, but see http://www.adobe.com/go/strict_policy_files for an explanation.
Warning: [strict] Ignoring policy file at tlssocket://<domain>:443 due to incorrect syntax. See http://www.adobe.com/go/strict_policy_files to fix this problem.
*** Security Sandbox Violation ***
Connection to <domain>:443 halted - not permitted from https://<SwfFile>.swf
Error: Request for resource at tlssocket://<domain>:443 by requestor from https://<SwfFile>.swf is denied due to lack of policy file permissions.
Can anyone help us to write the socket policy file server for SecureSocket?
