How can i fix unwanted "click" sound on rollover button

The homepage of my website includes 9 rollover buttons which link to the site's main page. The rollover buttons play a series of bass notes when the user rolls over them, however the sound is followed by an unwanted clicking sound a second or two after the button is activated. This sound is not present in the actual audio clip so the problem is happening in animate cc. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? How might I go about fixing this issue? Thanks.

Just because the metadata fields are blank doesn't mean they don't exist. You need to use an audio editing program that offers an explicit option to omit metadata when saving, like Audition.

I downloaded Audition and used the function you mentioned to omit the metadata but the clicking sound is still happening when I insert the new audio files into animate cc. Do you have any other suggestions I could try?

If you'd like someone to look at it, you could post the WAV to a file sharing site like Dropbox or Google Drive.

However, first make sure that Animate is actually playing the updated file and that it's not using a cached version when you preview the page.
