How can I stop Animate CC freezing when the "Processing Strokes" bar starts loading?

I'll be making an animation and the "processing strokes" loading bar will pop up, but sometimes it stays at 0% and I can't do anything to fix it except force quit the program and have to do all the work I just lost again.

Is there anything that I can do to stop this from happening in the future or is it just a program bug I'll have to wait for Adobe to fix in the next update?

I'm using Adobe Animate 2021, but this problem appeared again. 😞
