How do you import an image sequence to Flash cc

I have tried it multiple settings, but the image sequence I import always ends up with each image having its own layer

If you have imported a set of images and you're not given the option of importing then as a sequence, you can still select them all on the stage, right-click, and Distribute to Keyframes, to get the same end result.

BTW, when importing a sequence you should just select the first image, Animate should notice that there are more with the same start of name, and offer to import the sequence.

It shouldn't do that, if they are named well, Flash should offer to import the sequence. But if it does happen, just select all the images and right-click on one of the images on stage, and choose "Distribute to Keyframes".

That's if you have a recent version of Flash CC.

Make sure your images are named sequentially. For example:

Image_001.png

Image_002.png

Image_003.png

etc...

Flash will detect the numerical sequence and prompt if you want to import one or all.

Animate CC doesnt prompt me. It just loads everything at once into a single layer
