How to allocate more memory to adobe animate?

Im NOT talking about editing the jvm.ini file. This file is obviously for allocating more memory during  publishing only. I need to know how to allocate more memory to animate for the UI so that the program stops going blank after i load an FLA. thank you

no such animate setting.  i don't think your os has sich a setting, either.

other than a hardware upgrade, closing all ram consuming app is the best you can do.

i dont think a hardware upgrade will do anything. im pretty sure animate is set to use only a certain amount of RAM regardless of how much ram you actually have. with my pagefile set to max I have over 64 gigs of RAM available for use and it still goes blank
