How to continue longer nested animations?

Hi,

I wanna animate a floating charakter, which is talking. So I created a Symbol with a 3 sec short up-and-down-movement-cycle for the body and nested the lips as another symbol with a longer timeline.

The talking starts again every 3 seconds as the hovering cycle starts again.

How do I make the nested animation continue though the outer animation loops?

I think you are probably having issues with looping on your graphic symbol.

Thanks for the answer, but I need a little bit mor help. No video I watched touches this problem. It's not that I did put it on "loop once" by accident. I wanna figure out, how to play a long loop nested inside a short loop without resetting the inner loop on each iteration.
