How to lock orientation/rotation of symbol thats on a motion path?

Hello! I'm animating something thats similar to a moon orbiting around a planet, and learning how to use the orient to path/motion path tools to do this.

So how do I stop my symbol from rotating on the path?! In the tweening panel, I put rotate to none and also tried auto. Didn't solve anything. If i keyframe every 5 frames to try to force it to stay in one place... IT JUST LOOKS WONKY!

Why isn't there a more intuitive way to say, "no, your bottom point stays locked to the bottom of the stage"
